Farmer Interpreter

Old Grove Orange is an 81-acre organic, regenerative farm located 60 miles east of Los Angeles in Redlands, CA. We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, professional Farmer Interpreter. The Farmer Interpreter is a paid position that gives its applicants an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in regenerative agriculture, agribusiness, and agricultural education. We think of the Farmer Interpreter as someone who not only farms but is good with people, someone that can represent farming to the general public.

The Farmer Interpreter is responsible for leading Farm Field Trips and hosting Mini Farmers Market assemblies at elementary school sites (60%), as well as engaging in general farm work (40%).

• Full Time - 40 hours/week
• Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. Willing to work on weekends, but no more than 5 days/week
• Minimum 6 month commitment, with a three month trial period prior to full time conversion
