Operating Room Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced operating room registered nurse for day shifts. Day shift consists of three 12-hour shifts per week from 06:30 to 19:00. All surgical cases except transplants and open heart procedures will be handled. High volume of orthopedic cases, particularly total joints. Provider support services available include intensivist, NP, hospitalist, and anesthesiologist in-house 24/7. Additional support includes interpretation services, lift teams, pharmacy, phlebotomy, physical therapy, radiology, rapid response teams, respiratory services, social services, transportation, and unit secretary.

Utilizing Omnicell medication system with SBAR communication protocol. On-call is required, approximately every third weekend. Candidates should have circulating experience and be familiar with Meditech documentation. Previous travel experience is required. No first-time travelers or locals within 50 miles will be considered.
