Experienced HVAC Residential Service Technician

Position Overview

Burgeson’s Heating, A/C, Electrical, Solar & Plumbing in Redlands, CA is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic abilities, excellent customer service skills and pride in delivering quality workmanship.

• Diagnose, service and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Perform preventative maintenance services on residential HVAC equipment
• Identify system deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions
• Clearly communicate findings and repair options to customers
• Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience on every service call

• Minimum of 3 years of residential HVAC service experience
• EPA Certification required
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostics skills
• Valid California Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage assigned service calls
• Strong computer and technology skills, including the ability to use tablets, navigate multiple software platforms, process payments using card readers, complete electronic documentation, and learn new systems quickly
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
