Immediate Graveyard Position

Overview

We're interviewing now at our Redlands, CA facility! Looking for a client-focused Support Staff, who has knowledge of mental health and substance abuse clientele!

We are seeking to fill a Full‑Time Graveyard Support Staff position.

The Support Staff fulfills the assigned role as part of the treatment team – to maintain the wellbeing of clients and the integrity of the program. Additionally, the Support Staff provides client supervision and staff/unit support as assigned.

THIS IS AN AWAKE SHIFT

• Develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with clients and staff
• Supervise U/A testing, reporting and documentation
• Intake responsibilities as late night intakes happen often; including but not limited to: client searches, property search; documenting client property, washing client clothing to ensure no contraband is brought in and folding/hanging said clothing, signing consents, etc.
• Supports clients emotionally and environmentally for comfort and safety upon arrival, when they are having a hard time sleeping & in the morning
• Accurately document rounds – and conduct them
• Cleaning responsibilities – this is mandatory
• Responsible for PRN medications and vitals/COWs/CIWAs for clients
• Listen, document, and report client behaviors
• Maintain confidentiality of clients at all time
• Provide encouragement, guidance and support to clients
• Complete required intake paperwork when there is an overflow into this shift or a late night admit
• Provide crisis intervention and encourage a healthy residential and working environment
• Communicate and collaborate with co‑workers, clinical staff, and administration in order to deliver the best quality care possible
• Perform a nightly medication audit
• Other duties as assigned

• CPR & First Aid certification
• Valid California Driver's License
• Pass a background check
• Negative TB test
• Understand therapeutic process, confidentiality laws, professional ethics, fundamentals of addiction, and mental health disabilities and treatment
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays if needed
