* Job Summary &
Purpose:
* AI Systems Inc. is looking for an A&P Mechanic with management experience. This position oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations involving maintenance on high-performance experimental aircraft.
* Essential Functions:
* The Maintenance Manager’s primary functions include, but are not limited to:
- Leading a team of 2-3 other mechanics in the following duties:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, engine, and basic avionics
- Read and comprehend aircraft service manuals
- Organize and assist in shop efficiency improvements
- Work with management to ensure jobs are completed safely and on-time
- Document and maintain discrepancy logs for individual aircraft
- Write log book entries
* Minimum Qualifications:
* - High School diploma (Required)
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Required)
- Inspection Authorization (Preferred)
- Experience with Pratt and Whitney turbo prop engines (Preferred)
- Experience with Continental and Lycoming engines (Preferred)
- Experience with composite materials (Preferred)
- Self-motivated
- Problem solver
- Ability to follow written/verbal instructions
* Physical Demands & Work Environment:
* - Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs
- Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces
- Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required wcon

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
