JOB SUMMARY

The Agricultural Sciences Teacher is the primary instructional delivery person in the classroom. The teacher instructs professional technical education classes in agricultural sciences. The teacher supervises student activities related to the above so that students develop the skills, knowledge, and attitudes related to employment in the agricultural occupations. Student achievement and growth are primarily dependent on the work and efforts of the classroom teacher.

The position is demanding, varied, and complex. The teacher must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be well trained in content knowledge and teaching strategies.
