Evaluation Teacher Leader – Lynch Elementary School
Starting Date: Jul 1, 2026
Assignment: One evaluation teacher leader assigned to each elementary, middle, and high school.
Job OverviewThe evaluation teacher leader position is designed to provide support and assistance toward meeting the performance plan goals at the assigned school. The role will facilitate the areas listed below, focus on strengths, collaborate with the principal and building teams, and participate in leadership development opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as a member of the principal’s school leadership team.
- Lead and create a positive school culture.
- Participate in systemic change and transformations necessary for school improvement.
- Participate in leadership development opportunities (CLT planning, curriculum implementation, Equity Collaborative, etc.).
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders about school leadership meetings, performance plan goals, and strategies for achievement.
- Lead and support CLTs: plan meetings, track CLT work, organize and post assessments, calendars, data, progress.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and events outside of the regular contract day both in the assigned school and at the district level.
- Report progress of the team to the overseeing administrator and provide data for the school scorecard and SLGs.
- Assist in school‑based initiatives (RTI, CLTs, Scorecard, instructional practices, attendance, PBIS).
- Attend 1.5 days of on‑site training in August to prepare for the in‑service week.
- Participate in District Equity Collaborative.
- Partner with the principal to ensure licensed employees are familiar with standards of professional practice.
- Support colleagues with navigation and use of TED.
- Contribute to district evaluation team discussions and plans for enhancing RSD educator effectiveness system.
- Strong depth of knowledge in instructional practice and teaching strategies.
- Commitment to collaborative learning teams that meet the needs of all students.
- Commitment to learning and utilizing equitable practices in the classroom.
- Commitment to professional reflection and continuous professional growth.
- Positive leadership skills and abilities.
- Strong technical skills (Google Apps for Education & Canvas).
- Success in maintaining organizational systems.
- Success as a creative problem solver.
- Success in facilitating small groups.
- Reliable team member.
- Valid Oregon Teaching License.
Hours are subject to slight changes by building, but not to exceed a total of 59 hours.
- Monthly leadership meetings: ~3 days per month, 10 hours each, total 30 hours.
- August training & planning sessions:
Partners in Practice (4 hrs), total 8 hours. - Partners in Practice meetings: five 1.5‑hour after‑school meetings (4:15‑6:00 PM), total 9 hours.
- Various leadership duties as directed by building principal (e.g., sub planning, building‑level committees, family events), 10 hours.
- Evaluation leader meetings with district, 3 hours.
Stipend: $1,876 to $1,989. Compensation begins on the October paycheck.
