Evaluation Teacher Leader – Ridgeview High School – Stipend Position – Open to current RSD staff only

Job SummaryThe evaluation teacher leader position is designed to support and assist in meeting the performance plan goals at the assigned school. The role involves facilitating professional learning communities, collaborating with the principal and building teams, providing training and leadership development, and supporting school‑wide initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as a member of the principal’s school leadership team.
- Lead efforts to create a positive school culture.
- Collaboratively plan 2‑3 PLC meetings per month.
- Demonstrate and share best teaching practices, including instructional strategies, model PLCs, and teaching demonstrations.
- Participate in leadership development opportunities such as PLC training, instructional analysis, and collaborative walkthroughs.
- Attend PLC training and serve as a leader and facilitator at the department level, offering support and guidance.
- Develop understanding of Tier 2 practices and effective feedback strategies.
- Train on best practices for peer observation.
- Communicate with colleagues and stakeholders about school leadership meetings, performance plan goals and strategies.
- Plan and record PLC work, data, assessments, and calendars.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and events outside of the regular contract day, both in the assigned school and at the district level.
- Report progress and provide data for school and department scorecards and SLGs.
- Assist in school initiatives such as RTI, PLCs, and student engagement practices.
- Attend 1.5 days of on‑site training in August and professional development during two scheduled SIWs.
- Partner with principals to ensure licensed employees meet professional practice standards.
- Support colleagues with navigation and use of TED.
- Contribute to district evaluation team discussions and plans for enhancing educator effectiveness.
- Strong depth of knowledge in instructional practice and teaching strategies.

- Strong technical skills (Google Apps for Education & Canvas).
- Organizational systems maintenance.

- Reliable team member.
- Valid Oregon Teaching License.
Stipend of $1,989 (approximately $1,876 to $1,989) for 59 hours as outlined in the Extra Responsibility schedule of the 2024‑25 contract. Hours subject to slight changes but not to exceed 59 hours.
