Job DescriptionWe are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for a Temporary 1.0 FTE Kindergarten Teacher position atVern Patrick Elementary School. This temporary position is anticipated to begin September 16, 2026, and continue through January 15, 2027, and is being filled to provide coverage during an employee's leave of absence.

Please note: The salary range displayed for this position reflects the District's annual salary schedule. Actual compensation for this temporary assignment will prorated based on the duration of the assignment and the successful candidate's applicable salary placement

JOB SUMMARY
The teacher is the primary instructional delivery person in the classroom. Student learning is primarily dependent on the work and efforts of the classroom teacher. The position is demanding, varied and complex. The classroom teacher must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be well trained in content knowledge and teaching strategies.
