Construction Superintendent (3 month project)

Job Description

Actalent is seeking to hire a superintendent to partner with the project manager to schedule various subcontractors and maintain the project schedule. Daily reporting, including project progress updates, RFIs, and change orders, will be integral to this position. You will oversee site safety and manage subcontractors, ensuring regular onsite communication with the end client. Additionally, you will discuss the scope of projects, budgets, overall project performance, and close-out with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

* Partner with project manager to schedule subcontractors and maintain project schedule.

* Conduct daily reporting, including project progress updates, RFIs, and change orders.

* Oversee overall site safety and management of subcontractors.

* Communicate regularly onsite with the end client.

* Discuss scope of projects, budgets, overall project performance, and close-out with project stakeholders.

Essential Skills

* 5+ years of site superintendent experience.

* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, specifically chiller systems.

* Proficiency in MS Project.

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent working experience.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with construction management and subcontractor management.

* Knowledge of MEP, mechanical systems, HVAC.

* Proficiency in Safety protocols, Procore, and Bluebeam.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $42.27/hr.
