Director, Project Delivery

Lonza is seeking a Director, Project Delivery to lead large CAPEX projects enabling cutting-edge biopharma manufacturing. You will own end-to-end delivery of complex capital initiatives-from concept through commissioning-ensuring projects meet safety, quality, GMP, schedule, and budget targets. Partner with engineering, operations, quality, and global stakeholders to design and expand facilities, implement advanced technologies, and manage vendors and contractors. This role offers the opportunity to shape critical infrastructure that supports innovative therapies, with strong focus on leadership, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of large CAPEX projects for biopharma manufacturing facilities
• Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and risk management plans for capital initiatives
• Ensure projects comply with safety, GMP/Gx
• P, and regulatory requirements
• Direct internal teams, engineering partners, and external contractors to achieve project milestones
• Oversee procurement, vendor selection, and contract management for capital projects
• Coordinate design, construction, commissioning, and handover to operations
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and best practices in project delivery
• Provide strategic updates, reporting, and decision support to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Foster a culture of collaboration, quality, and patient-centric outcomes across project teams
• Support integration of advanced technologies and capacity expansions aligned with Lonza's strategy.
