* Job Summary:

** Perform routine installations, updates, and maintenance of new and existing telecommunication systems and networks. Handle network system planning, monitoring, and testing. Complete preventive maintenance on routine network communications equipment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

*** Installs, configures, and maintains network hardware and software.
* Troubleshoots and resolves routine issues related to network connectivity and performance.
* Monitors network performance and implements improvements as needed.
* Collaborates with other IT professionals to implement routine network solutions.
* Ensures network security by implementing and maintaining firewalls and other security measures.
* Provides technical support to end-users for network-related issues.
* Documents network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
* Stays informed about emerging technologies and recommends upgrades or enhancements.

* Education and Experience Requirements:

**** Minimum of High School or GED level of education
*** Associate or Technical degree in Computer Science, Digital Programs, or related field perfered
* Advanced proficiency in all MS Office programs.
* 0 to 2 years’ experience working as a network technician or related field preferred.
* Certifications in other data analytics and coding programs such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus.
** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
*** Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work independently and with others.
* Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
** Work Environment:
*** Frequent exposure to manufacturing facilities with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
* Ability to sit comfortably for prolonged periods of time.
* Occasional travel as the job may require visiting customers and project sites.
* Work is performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
