Piping Installer Shift; Mon-Thurs

BASX, part of AAON, is an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of custom heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) solutions. We offer a dynamic and fast‑paced environment for skilled technicians in Redmond, OR.

A‑Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday – Thursday (10–12‑hour shifts).

• Read, understand, and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
• Cut and bore holes in structures such as bulkheads, decks, walls, and mains before pipe installation, using hand and power tools.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications, using brazing, gluing, soldering, and threading.
• Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures with brackets and/or Unistrut.
• Troubleshoot problems in the piping systems we build.
• Install automatic controls used to regulate hydronic and refrigerant systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work 10–12‑hour shifts.
• Competency in selecting pipe type, size, and related materials such as supports and hangers as per job specifications.

• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Exhibits good decision‑making and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrates strong multi‑tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
• Works effectively in a team environment and in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.

• Lift up to 50 lb.
• Sit or stand for up to 95% of work hours.
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
