Press Operator – Redmond

Location:

Redmond, Oregon

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19–$22 per hour, DOE

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8‑hour shift.
First

Shift: 6:00 am–2:30 pm
Second Shift: 2:00 pm–10:30 pm

Job Description

As a Press Operator, you will operate and monitor manufacturing presses to produce bullets, ensuring quality, safety, and efficient production. Primary duties include monitoring machine operation, performing setup, minor repairs, light maintenance, and assisting with inventory control.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English clearly and legibly
  • Excellent eyesight, with or without corrective lenses, for close inspection work
  • Familiarity with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers) and mechanical concepts
  • Ability to adhere to all workplace safety rules and precautions
  • Capacity to move or maneuver up to 75 lb on a regular basis and occasionally lift up to 45 lb
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Team‑orientated, quality‑focused, and performance‑driven mindset
  • Pass and maintain a clean drug and criminal background screening
