Job Description Primary Duties
Works with Quality Management to maintain the Quality Manual and participates in annual review and updates of the Quality Manual.
Participates in yearly department strategic planning sessions, monthly Quality reporting to Senior and Executive Leadership, and customer facing meetings.
Develops quality control systems designed to ensure final products meet customer specifications and performance requirements.
Utilizes statistical and root cause analysis to review current and past failures.
Provides suggestions for improvements and assists in implementing changes.
Creates, implements, and oversees the development of quality standards/metrics.
Works with Engineering, Sales, Warranty, and Field Service personnel to resolve customer complaints and address field service technical problems.
Plans, coordinates, analyzes, and reports quality issues, key performance indicators and continuous improvement activities.
Ensures follow-up on improvements, corrective actions and activities related to customer complaints and reports to the customer the status of the actions.
Works with other departments and outside manufacturers to ensure that purchased and manufactured parts meet engineering and customer specifications/standards.
Supervisory responsibilities include directing workflow, managing schedules, and providing coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions as required to assigned subordinates.
Job RequirementsEducation and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
License(s) and Certification(s)Experience in Quality (ASQ CQE Certification), ISO, Lean, Statistical Process Control, Auditing, HVAC, and Continuous Improvement methodologies are preferred.
Certification as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExperience with SAP modules such as EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) or IM (Inventory Management).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting.

Essential Physical FunctionsLift up to 50lbs.
Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
