Position Overview

Perform electrical work related to the construction, maintenance, and repair of electric power, lighting, and communication systems throughout the plant.

What You'll Do

* Install conduit, motors, controls, PLCs, instruments, and service equipment

* Interpret specifications, blueprints, schematics, and one‑line diagrams

* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues across plant systems

* Operate tools and equipment safely and follow all safety procedures

* Coordinate with supervisors and other departments to support smooth operations

* Set up machines and equipment

* Perform additional duties as assigned

What You'll Bring to the Team

* Valid manufacturing plant electrical license

* Strong troubleshooting skills in AC/DC circuits, motors, motor controls, PLCs, instrumentation, and communication systems

* Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, safety rules, and procedural manuals

* Effective written and verbal communication

* Ability to solve practical problems and work with multiple variables

* Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram‑based instructions

* Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime when needed

Education & Experience

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Two years of industrial experience preferred

* Current license holder in one of the following:

* Manufacturing Plant electrician (PJ)

* General Journeyman Electrician (J)

* Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME)

Physical & Environmental Requirements

* Ability to read work instructions and communicate clearly

* Ability to stand, walk, reach, crouch, crawl, climb, stoop, kneel, and work at heights

* Ability to use hands for fine electrical work and manipulate plant fixtures

* Ability to exert up to 35 lbs of force

* Ability to work in environments with electrical risk, moving mechanical parts, heights, noise, dust, chemicals, and temperature variations
