Technician, Refrigeration​/HVAC

Work as a member of Walmart’s refrigeration HVAC team, supporting and overseeing repair and maintenance of refrigeration and HVAC equipment throughout the store. Use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, power tools, and digital tools to complete jobs, document repairs in the work order system, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to pass an MVR check.
• Minimum 18 years old and high school diploma or equivalent.

• Maintain and repair store refrigeration HVAC equipment using commercial HVAC skills and tools.
• Use the work order management system to receive and document repair tasks.
• Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required safety and equipment training.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and Walmart safety policies.
• Lift up to 75 lbs, use ladders, and work at heights as required.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls.
