In the afternoon, you swap out a worn roller, log a preventive inspection, and coach a production teammate on equipment care. Employment Type:

Full-Time Starting Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM;
On-Call as needed

Overtime:
May be required based on company and maintenance needs

Location:

Redmond, Oregon What you’ll tackle

Partner daily with the Lead Maintenance Technician on planned work and priority repairs.

Execute hands-on adjustments, installations, and corrective maintenance on production, packaging, and facility equipment.

Diagnose issues to uncover root causes of downtime and resolve problems quickly and safely.

Replace worn, damaged, or unsafe parts and components to restore optimal operation.

Operate hand and power tools correctly and safely at all times.

Carry out preventive maintenance and routine inspections to extend equipment life.

Support production teams with proper equipment care, cleaning, and basic upkeep.

Pitch in on facility improvements and general maintenance projects.

Keep tools, benches, and work areas orderly to enable efficient work.

Follow equipment manuals and established maintenance procedures precisely.

Promptly report hazards, issues, and repair needs to the appropriate manager.

Uphold all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.

Must-haves (Required)
Foundational knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical systems.

Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment.

Proficient, safe use of hand and power tools.

Ability to read and follow manuals, instructions, and safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset.

Comfort working independently and collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.

Valid driver’s license.

Nice-to-haves (Preferred)
Experience in maintenance, mechanical repair, handyman work, or equipment service.

Two years in maintenance or industrial equipment environments.

Background with packaging or production machinery.

Preventive maintenance experience.

Ability to interpret basic schematics or wiring diagrams.

Basic computer skills for maintenance records and documentation.

Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills.

Physical capabilities

Stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.

Bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb as work requires.

Lift, carry, and handle parts up to 50 pounds.

Work in tight, confined, or elevated spaces.

Maintain balance and coordination around or on machinery.
