Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Redmond, OR, for a Trainer-Bus Driver. In this role, you will be responsible for providing training and guidance to other drivers to ensure safe and efficient transportation services. Duties include driving school buses along designated routes, ensuring student safety during transit, conducting safety workshops, and performing vehicle inspections in compliance with district standards and regulations.

Additionally, the Trainer-Bus Driver will assist in evaluating driver performance and maintaining training records.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate school buses and adherence to transportation safety protocols
• Proficiency in training and mentoring bus drivers, including delivering workshops and evaluating performance
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection procedures and understanding of transportation regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with staff, students, and parents effectively
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing transportation challenges
• Possession of a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in school transportation or training is preferred
