Dispatcher Position

We are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for a Dispatcher position on our Transportation Department team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team that supports the efforts of making success possible for all Redmond students.

Redmond School District serves more than 7,000 students from Redmond, Alfalfa, Crooked River Ranch, Eagle Crest, Terrebonne and Tumalo. The District operates eight elementary schools, one specialized learning center, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools.

The Transportation Dispatcher provides direction to other employees regarding scheduling, assigning trips, student discipline, assigning substitute drivers and other administrative support. The employee must be capable of working responsibly with a minimum of supervision and under constant interruption. The dispatcher works closely with a team of office staff and under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor.

Position begins August 3rd with anticipated training hours in July. Open until filled. Salary posted is for the  school year. Salaries for the  school year are dependent upon bargaining. Pay for all RSD regular positions is annualized to include summer months.
