Salary Range: $55,000 to $70,000 Annually Dependent on Experience

OverviewThe Division Assistant is an integral player in the smooth operation of the division and interacts with multiple stakeholders. Under the direct supervision of the Division Head, this position provides administrative support for the Division Head, Dean, and the division. The Division Assistant performs duties such as scheduling, maintaining the calendar, communicating with a wide variety of people, working on special projects, coordinating events, etc.
Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
- Support the Division Head and Dean with administrative tasks including preparing schedules, event planning, event support, forms, and communication with the division.
- May include some early morning and/or evening hours
- Manage the schedule of the Division Head and Dean maintaining the calendar and setting up meetings in coordination with other departments
- Schedule emergency classroom coverage when needed
- Order curriculum in a timely manner for an efficient start to the school year
- Support the division through event setup and preparation which may include presenter gifts, event programs, assigned seating, and assigning individuals to host the event
- Upper School only: assist with commencement season events and supplies such as graduation gowns and diplomas
- Prepare materials for Parent/Teacher Conferences including report cards, seating maps, greeting parents when they arrive, and assigning seats for faculty
- Perform other related duties as assigned unique to the division

- High school diploma required
- Post-secondary coursework and previous professional office experience highly desired
- Hold CPR/AED/First Aid certification (with epinephrine autoinjector supplement) or obtain certification within 90 days of employment start date
- Currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer (sponsorship is not available for this position)

- May work at a desk and computer for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
- Work in a traditional climate-controlled office environment with occasional visits between campus buildings, requiring exposure throughout the day to the outside elements
