About

The Role

As a CBRE Receptionist you will provide administrative support to a department or office, greeting visitors, answering calls, setting up meeting rooms, and performing other duties. This role is part of the Workplace Experience function and is responsible for delivering world‑class customer service to clients and visitors of the designated building.

What You’ll Do
  • Receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel and voicemail.
  • Greet clients, applicants, and visitors upon arrival; issue visitor passes, parking validations, and follow security protocols.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting and conference rooms, including room setup, catering orders, and technological equipment; request building and housekeeping services as needed.
  • Perform general clerical duties such as distributing office faxes and packages and ordering office supplies.
  • Track incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and freight; arrange messenger service and hospitality services for guests such as transportation, tickets, and reservations.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems with limited discretion.
  • Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job‑related experience.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Basic math skills, including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
Compensation

The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Receptionist is $21.63 per hour and the maximum is $25 per hour. Compensation offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
