We are looking for talented technicians to help full-scale production of the Kuiper satellites. The success of Kuiper depends on the quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products that you deliver. • Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory
• Execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables independently
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
• Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.)
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Starting pay: Washington State $33.50 / hour (possible incremental raises based on tenure).

• Willing to work 4 / 10s as assigned:
  • 1st shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm PST (Sun – Wed) or 6:00 am – 4:30 pm PST (Wed – Sat)
  • 2nd shift: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am PST (Sun – Wed) or 5:00 pm – 3:30 am PST (Wed – Sat)
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Flexible working/commuting between Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WA
• Must stand for long periods, climb ladders, bend, grasp, sit, pull, push, stoop, and stretch as required
• Must lift up to 25 lbs unassisted

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches)
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system
• Experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings

• Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/license
• CFOT certification or equivalent experience
• Airman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience
• ASE certification or equivalent experience
• Experience in a fast‑paced production environment with flight hardware
• Experience with FOD, ESD‑sensitive hardware and clean‑room requirements
• Experience with electro‑mechanical assembly, final integration, fiber optics/optical and/or harness integration
• Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environment
• Expert knowledge and certification in rigging and lifting equipment
• Experience with rigging and lifting equipment inspection and maintenance
• Experience with rigging‑related safety measures
