Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,000+ satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to underserved communities around the world. The role supports the full‑scale production of the Leo satellites, where quality, reliability, cost, manufacturability, throughput, and security of the products are critical.
Key Responsibilities- Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Assemble and test a variety of LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, and other complex aerospace components with a focus on detail.
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing and maintenance.
- Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
- Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and support preventive maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.
- Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.

Redmond, Washington, USA.
Pay:
Up to $33.50 per hour, with incremental raises based on tenure. The rate may range between $38.00 and $41.00 per hour depending on shift and responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications- 1+ year in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification.
- 1+ year using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches).
- 1+ year working with test tools and methods to validate systems.
- Experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and drawings.
- Experience in the aerospace, automotive, medical device, aviation, military, or other high‑reliability environments.
- Experience in a fast‑paced production environment.
- Experience with FOD, ESD‑sensitive hardware, and clean‑room requirements.
- Experience with forklifts, cranes, and heavy equipment (previous certifications).
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, optical, and mechanical systems, antennas, functional testing, and satellite components.
- Ability to use multiple types of precision measuring instruments.
- Effective teamwork skills and ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities in a high‑paced work environment.
