Purpose of the TeamThe team focuses on managing the supply chain for AI GPU delivery to data centers, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and delivery schedules. The team handles the execution of customer-driven purchase orders for AI GPU within a zero to six-month window, tracking material alignment, data center availability, and customer needs.
Key ProjectsThis role is ideal for a Lean practitioner with experience in process documentation. The position involves building out current process data, conducting waste analysis, and implementing lean approach improvements.
Typical Task Breakdown and Operating Rhythm- 40% of the day involves meetings to review inputs and changes from leadership.
- 60% of the day is dedicated to data entry, data review, and analysis to ensure system alignment and accuracy.
This role offers the opportunity to start with data entry tasks and grow into a more analytical position, with potential for involvement in automation and process improvement.
Candidate Requirements- Years of experience required: 2-4 years.
- Degrees or certifications required:
None required, but familiarity with software is essential. Lean Six Sigma certifications are desirable.
Performance will be measured by the accuracy of data entry, the ability to identify discrepancies, and adherence to customer satisfaction dates.
Top 3 Hard Skills Required- Minimum 2 years of experience with Lean Six Sigma documentation experience, including process support, waste hour analysis, and implementing Lean Six Sigma waste reduction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Office applications:
Familiarity with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The primary function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.
Job Responsibilities- Establish and maintain communication services across business units or from the project team to the organization.
- Maintain the storage and retrieval of all project communications data and business metrics.
- Review contracts, cost proposals, and contract supplements.
- Establish and document business processes.
- Set up project and work breakdown structures.
- Track project budgets and expenditures, monitoring transaction controls and costs against budgets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Word and Excel; experience with enterprise applications is a plus.
