Overview

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Amazon Leo will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement inventory management processes for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
  • Define and maintain inventory control policies including min/max levels, safety stock, and replenishment triggers
  • Establish inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and audit processes
  • Translate physical material flows into system workflows and data models
  • Design and optimize material movement between manufacturing buildings and storage locations
  • Define standard operating procedures (SOPs) for receiving, staging, kitting, transfer, and issue-to-development
  • Partner with Engineering, NPI, and Development Operations teams to align material flow with development needs
  • Work on-site in warehouses and development areas during initial implementation
  • Support physical inventory counts, process pilots, and operational validation
  • Validate system logic against real-world usage and consumption
  • Own implementation and ongoing optimization of inventory processes within ERP systems (Epsilon
    3)
  • Define data requirements, workflows, and reporting for inventory visibility and control
  • Partner with IT and systems teams to ensure accurate and scalable system integration
  • Operate independently with minimal day-to-day guidance, providing clear status, risks, and recommendations
  • Establish KPIs and governance mechanisms for long-term operational excellence
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • 5+ years of inventory management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
