Procurement Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 5 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 5, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Procurement Specialist 5

Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months on W2

Pay Range: $45 - $49/hour + Benefits & PTO

• Lead in determining and managing sourcing strategies within defined categories or subcategories.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and implement category strategies, plans, and processes for sourcing goods and services.
• Oversee sourcing processes, materials, and reports for management, providing procurement advice to business areas.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and identify potential new partners.
• Monitor compliance with sourcing processes and act as an internal consultant for each stage in the process.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Digital and analytical skills, with experience in contract management and creating contracts to support commissioning efforts.
