20543### Scope and Authority The Spare Parts Demand Specialist (SPDS) main role is to analyze the industry spare parts business globally to support profitable growth of the spare parts business and manage the spare parts demand planning and stock settings for the industry globally to drive availability and cost efficiency. The ISPDS also sup-ports the Global Pricing Team in optimizing spare parts pricing for spare parts related to the industry.

This includes monitoring and analysis of spare parts sales, profitability, demand, delivery performance and other related aspects of the spare parts business from an Industry perspective. The ISPDS works closely with the Regions, Global Supply Chain and Global Pricing Team to optimize the spare parts business and demand planning.
* Monitor and analyze spare parts global sales and business for the Industry (development of sales per region, profitability, lead times delivery performance etc.)
* Work closely with the Regions and other stakeholders to understand customer feedback, markets dynamics and demands on spare parts as well as competitive landscape. Give input on spare parts opportunities and threats to relevant stakeholders
* Continuously forecast and plan demand of spare parts sales for the industry in close cooperation (liaison function) with the regions and Global Supply Chain on relevant actions and improvements and with globally agreed standards and practices
* Drive optimal setting and management of strategic items globally for the industry
* Focus on reliable availability and shorter cycle times from quote/order to delivery, with optimal stock levels and focus on the optimal balance of customer needs and cost of capital, in line with global strategy and guidelines
* Secure customer requirements are turned into optimal stocking strategy for the industry, and balanced across the regions, by agreed standards between Global Service and Global Supply Chain
* Continuously work on improvements of availability with accurate demand planning and forecasting
* Collect, process and share feedback on the market situation in relation to competitiveness, like pirates, pricing and customer demand to relevant stakeholders within JBT Marel
* Actively contributing to the Product Development Process and Product Life Cycle Management process to secure optimal availability of spare parts in each stage of the process
* Continuously monitor the quality of relevant master data and suggest improvements to secure high quality across the company
* Maintaining solid knowledge of the industry installed base globally, changes and trends to secure optimal availability of spare parts
* Being an active member of the virtual Global Spare Parts Demand team by sharing information and implement required tasks from the community### Main Tasks
** Responsibilities within Industry:
*** Monitor spare parts delivery performance, for the industry, to identify bottlenecks and shortfalls and work out improvement initiatives
* Drive performance culture and the environment by implementing and managing relevant KPIs, metrics and continuous improvement programs in line with Marel global standards.
* Spare parts forecasting/demand planning in line with global governance
* Define and manage strategic item settings globally
* Monitor and analyses overall spare parts performance and capabilities, for the industry, to identify gaps and best practices e.g. revenue, margin, pricing, availability, stock levels, lead times, customer experience, efficiency and effectiveness of people, processes and technology.
* Support and assist in defining content for future e-business.
