Business Development, Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced Operations Program Manager with a background in Procurement and Vendor Management to support sourcing initiatives and operational excellence. In this role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional partners and key stakeholders to manage sourcing activities for external vendors and service providers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship‑driven, and skilled at navigating complex processes while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Work with program leads to understand their sourcing needs.
- Find or suggest a supplier that meets Partners’ goals.
- Negotiate business and legal terms following Microsoft policies and standards.
- Create or renew Statement of Works (SOWs) using Microsoft approved forms.
- Maintain good relationships with both suppliers and program owners.
- Be a Trusted Advisor for program owners on contracted processes and procedures.
- Track RFI/RFP (Requests for Information/Proposals)
- Provide weekly status reports on volume, processing time frames, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Document and improve end to end processes.
- Assist in resolving procurement and operational issues.
- Prepare for key supplier performance reviews, and meetings.
- Manage the tools and processes needed to support the program.
- Partner with Procurement to enhance sourcing insight and program management.
- Support other LOC business and operation management team members as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years’ work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HR, Procurement or Vendor Management.
This dynamic role requires a collaborative attitude. While you will have specific duties, the entire team is responsible for the final delivery, which may occasionally involve taking on additional tasks outside your primary responsibilities. Adaptability and a willingness to contribute wherever needed are key to success in this environment.
