Project Manager Non-Tech 2 (Contract)
Hybrid - Redmond, WA (4-5 days onsite)
Pay Range $49-$53 (depending on experience)
Role Overview
The team focuses on supporting the General Manager (GM) with business operations, including calendar management, budget reporting, event planning, and team/business support. The environment is described as fast-paced and focused on AI with responsibilities that adapt to the GM's needs and various projects. The Project Manager role offers a mix of business operations and project management, requiring both administrative and strategic skills.
Typical Day in the Role
- Calendar management with strong attention to accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution, and alignment to the leader's priorities and commitments
- Planning & coordinating end-to-end domestic and international travel plans including proactive anticipation of all logistics through expense reconciliation and submission
- Scheduling and assisting with leadership rhythm of the business (ROB) in partnership with the Business Manager including staff meetings, events and offsites, meeting logistics, and material preparation
- Strong collaboration and partnership skills with key stakeholders including, but not limited to HR, Finance and leadership team members
- Processing and approving expense reports
- Build and maintain good business relationships with counterpart administrative staff
- Work as part of a strong admin team to manage the needs of the overall organization
- Support annual and ongoing budget, headcount, and spend activities; as well as fiscal-year budget planning aligning with org guidance; provide accurate reporting to ensure effective budget management and forecasting
- Coordinate and manage regular business operations and communications effectively, incorporating strategic planning and priorities, while also managing the Rhythm of Business (ROB) to ensure alignment and accountability across all work streams.
- Plan & coordinate end-to-end domestic and international travel for leader as needed including proactive anticipation of all logistics through expense reconciliation and submission
- Provide team support for equipment, generating purchase orders and special projects as requested

- Basic knowledge of budget process, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing alignment with forecast.
- Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and headcount management.
- Proven proficiency using M365 products including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note; experience with Power BI and SharePoint preferred
