Salary: $82,000 - $86,500 per year. Pay Grade: 14.
Job SummaryThe Facility & Guest Services Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the Conference Center, Learning Center, and Multi‑Purpose Rooms, managing relationships with vendors, overseeing the Facility & Guest Services teams, ensuring service‑level agreements (SLAs) and deliverables are met, and handling project management, strategic planning, and budget management.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Manage the Facility & Guest Services teams, providing guidance & support and overseeing day‑to‑day service levels.
- Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing and executing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Oversee facility operations, including maintenance teams, construction projects, updates, and repairs.
- Coordinate with RE&S Service Providers and other facility vendors to establish efficient processes ensuring a consistent & seamless experience for guests (Tech, Catering, Furniture, Custodial, Maintenance, Security, etc.).
- Manage the Facility & Supplies budget, track project costs, invoices, and capital expenses.
- Nurture long‑term relationships among associates, clients, stakeholders & internal teams, fostering a strong team alliance and encouraging high morale.
- Continuously review & assess effectiveness & efficiency of policies and procedures, implementing improvements.
- Follow health, safety & security procedures, addressing & reporting all incidents & hazards immediately.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Oversee the Facility & Guest Services teams, ensuring all SLAs are met.
- Ensure staffing plans are executed and meet business needs, including interviewing, hiring, transferring, termination, payroll, scheduling, and backup plans.
- Perform all talent management functions for direct reports, including training plans, performance monitoring, and KPI delivery.
- Ensure that the development & execution of each role’s rhythm of business aligns with KPIs and job descriptions.
- Oversee inventory, metrics & reporting to provide data for business reviews with leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Hospitality experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite and current industry trends.
- 1–2 years of experience in operations or project management.
- 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams.
- 7–10 years of experience in Customer Service.
- Ability to think quickly & accurately, demonstrating initiative & sound judgment.
- Fast learning of new tools/software.
- Outstanding verbal & written communication skills; able to collaborate with diverse personalities and teams.
- Ability to interact with all levels of business clients.
- Strong interpersonal & customer service skills.
- Comfortable communicating with a global community, various cultures & languages.
- Process‑oriented yet flexible.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, independent, yet able to follow guidelines.
