Job Description & How to Apply Below
** Overview*
* Microsoft's Windows Device Sales (WDS) organization partners with the world's largest device and technology companies to bring Microsoft software and services to market through compelling hardware solutions globally. WDS plays a critical role in driving Microsoft's revenue, profitability, and platform growth by shaping the device ecosystem across OEMs, channels, distributors, resellers, and silicon partners.

As part of the WDS Business and Strategy Operations organization, the Program Management Office (PMO) provides centralized governance for portfolio intake and prioritization, strategic program execution, business solutions, and organizational compliance. The team works across Sales, Marketing, Category, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Security, Corporate, External and Legal Affairs (CELA), and core compliance organizations to enable business impact through clear accountability, strong governance, and operational discipline.

As a Senior Program Manager, Compliance within the WDS Business Strategy & Operations organization, you will lead and coordinate a portfolio of compliance initiatives and risk management activities across WDS. You will work closely with WDS and MCAPS teams, the WDS Executive Office, business management teams, and core compliance partners to drive compliance execution, improve operational readiness, reduce risk, and help the organization deliver on its commitments with accountability and integrity.

This role requires a self-directed program leader who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, building alignment across diverse stakeholders, communicating with clarity, and driving complex work streams to successful outcomes in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

This role is not the subject matter owner for every compliance domain and does not replace the accountability of Legal, Compliance, Finance, HR, Security, or business teams. Instead, the role serves as the central point of coordination for WDS compliance efforts, providing program governance, execution discipline, risk tracking, and portfolio visibility to help ensure compliance commitments are understood, appropriately owned, and delivered.

** Role Scope & Impact*
* + Lead the WDS compliance portfolio, driving execution of prioritized compliance work streams aligned to organizational commitments, business objectives, and Microsoft requirements.

+ Serve as the WDS compliance program lead across key risk and compliance domains, coordinating subject matter experts and accountable business owners to deliver compliance outcomes.

+ Establish and manage governance processes, operating rhythms, reporting mechanisms, and decision frameworks that improve compliance readiness, visibility, and execution effectiveness.

+ Identify compliance risks, execution gaps, process improvement opportunities, and emerging requirements through analysis, stakeholder engagement, and operational insight.

+ Provide senior leaders with clear visibility into program health, key risks, dependencies, mitigation plans, decisions, and compliance progress.

+ Drive AI-enabled automation and process improvements that increase operational efficiency, strengthen compliance oversight, and reduce manual effort across compliance programs.

** Responsibilities*
* + Partner across WDS and MCAPS, CELA, Finance, HR, Security, core Compliance teams, the WDS Executive Office, business management teams, and other key partners to scope, plan, and execute prioritized compliance initiatives.

+ Lead cross-organizational coordination and execution of compliance priorities, including Secure Future Initiative (SFI), Responsible AI, privacy, anti-corruption and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), trade, accessibility, supplier compliance, Executive Orders, regulatory mandates, and other emerging compliance requirements.

+ Define program and project requirements; develop charters, plans of record, timelines, milestones, dependencies, communication plans, deliverables, status reporting, risk mitigation strategies, and success measures.

+ Coordinate implementation of organizational compliance requirements, required training obligations, supplier compliance and…
