- Role
Summary:
As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for contract administration and supporting the Category Manager in the Long Lead Equipment and Maintenance & Repair Categories. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to execute strategies effectively.
4. What are the key responsibilities? - Documentation Management and Reporting:
- Prepare status reports and contractual notices.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide updates.
- Document processes and procedures, track workload, and report on SLA risks.
- Contract Management:
- Assume post-award contract administration responsibilities with suppliers.
- Facilitate post-award activities and address quality-related issues.
- Draft, execute, and file purchase agreements and orders.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
- Execute procurement contracting strategies for construction projects.
- Manage change orders and payment disputes.
- Compliance:
- Ensure consistency, timeliness, quality, and accuracy of deliverables.
- Store contract documents and ensure compliance with document filing.
- Communicate delays and propose contingency measures.
- Educate stakeholders and suppliers on policy compliance.
- Identify opportunities to adapt policy and mitigate risk.
- RFP Administration:
- Participate in sourcing activities and compile RFP packages.
- Provide administrative support for RFx process and change management.
- Research and complete onboarding for new and existing suppliers.
- Other:
- Drive success through effective planning and prioritization.
- Build strong relationships and embody company culture and values.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success? - MUST-Have Skills and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management.
- Proficiency in compliance and purchase order processing.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Experience with drafting and executing contracts.
- Preferred Skills and
Qualifications:
- Previous experience at Microsoft in a similar role.
