Position: Construction Manager 3

Construction Manager 3 | Remote U.S

Our client, a leading technology infrastructure organization, is seeking a Construction Manager 3 to join their team. You will be part of the Data Center Construction team supporting the GPUaaS Program Management Office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Construction Manager 3

Location: Remote (U.S.) with monthly travel to Data Center construction sites

Pay Range: $72.22 - $77.79/hour

What’s the Job?
  • Travel monthly to Data Center construction sites across the U.S. to inspect and validate project progress.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs with construction teams and Service Providers to assess construction execution and identify risks.
  • Compare actual construction progress against reported schedules and forecast milestone completion when delays occur.
  • Capture lessons learned and continuous improvement opportunities to support future Data Center projects.
  • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, findings, and forecasts to the GPUaaS Program Manager.
What’s Needed?
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Data Center Construction Projects, including construction execution, progress tracking, crew supervision, and project planning.
  • Strong knowledge of construction management principles, scheduling, quality control, and project reporting.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio); PMP certification is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while traveling frequently.
