** We are looking for a skilled Graphic Designer to join our client's Image and Culture Team. The Graphic Designer brings a great eye to the day-to-day of our social channels. Most of the time, this is a hands-on design role: creating social assets that keep our channels fresh, active, and on-brand. This person helps shape the look and feel of individual pieces and brings strong ideas to their own assets — always working within, and true to, our established brand.

If this sounds like you, we would like to meet you as soon as possible.

Our work often means translating cutting-edge technology and complex concepts into clear, compelling visuals for broad audiences — turning something dense into something a general audience immediately gets and wants to engage with.

When a major campaign spins up, the work shifts gears. In those stretches, this person works as a production designer and partner to our Art Director. Work off of design books and stakeholder asset lists, they will produce a high volume of polished assets across formats, from banners and signage to social posts, swag, and decks. The right person can move fluidly between the two: leading their own social work between campaigns, and locking in to execute cleanly and fast when a campaign ramps up.

This rhythm is part of the job. Expect focused, high-volume pushes during campaigns, followed by calmer, more self-directed stretches. Great candidates are energized by that variety rather than thrown by it.
** Responsibilities:
** Social Design (~60%)
● Design social assets that keep our channels active, fresh, and on-brand, bringing strong ideas to each piece while staying true to established brand guidelines
● Use design to explain complex concepts and cutting-edge technology to broad audiences — making dense or technical ideas clear, engaging, and easy to grasp
● Work independently against a content calendar, managing your own queue and priorities
● Maintain a careful eye for detail, including copy accuracy (grammar, spelling) on finished assets

Campaign Production Design (~40%)
● During major campaigns, work from Art Director–created design books and stakeholder asset lists to produce a high volume of on-brand assets, at pace
● Design across formats and surfaces — physical and digital banners, event and space signage, social posts, swag, presentation decks, and more
● Adapt and extend an established visual system consistently across every deliverable, maintaining brand and campaign integrity at scale
● Build files that are animation-ready where needed, partnering with the team’s motion and video specialists
** Qualifications
*
* Required:

● Strong portfolio of social and brand design that shows a great eye and strong ideas executed within an established brand
● Demonstrated ability to use design to communicate complex or technical concepts clearly to broad audiences
● Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Illustrator and Photoshop, with strong fundamentals in layout, typography, color, and hierarchy
● Ability to work independently on social while also taking direction from an Art Director to execute at volume during campaigns
● Strong attention to detail and a track record of producing volume without sacrificing quality
** A plus:*
* ● An understanding of designing for motion, and the ability to take an asset the rest of the way with simple motion or light video finishing (this is not an animator or editor role — we have those)
● Working knowledge of Figma (some stakeholders prefer to work in it)
● A passion for social media and all things digital EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
