Job Summary:
Mary's Park hosts events. This role provides excellent customer service, oversees parking fee collection, monitors traffic flow, ensures safety procedures, communicates with staff and supervisors, assists cashiers, reconciles revenue and bank deposits.
- Train and equip the cashier team with necessary skills, tools, and resources for smooth operations.
- Oversee cashiers in the field, assign locations, designate breaks, and assure team safety.
- Collect parking fees from vehicles entering lots.
- Provide excellent customer service and troubleshoot issues in the field.
- Perform reconciliation duties, verify revenue totals, and prepare bank deposits.
- Minimum two years’ experience in money handling/cashiering at Marymoor Park events.
- Skill in providing excellent customer service to a diverse customer base.
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Skill in following oral and written instructions.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships.
- Communicates Effectively – delivers clear multi-mode communications.
- Ensures Accountability – holds self and others accountable.
- Instills Trust – gains confidence through honesty, integrity, authenticity.
- Manages Conflict – handles conflict situations effectively.
- WA State Driver’s License.
Work location:
Marymoor Park, 6046 W. Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE, Redmond, WA.
Work schedule:
Flexible; primarily evenings and weekends depending on events. Position is covered under FLSA and is overtime eligible.
Physical requirements:
Long hours outdoors in all weather, stand up to three hours at a time, lift up to 30 pounds.
