PHYSICIAN - Maternal Fetal Medicine - Fargo, ND

Overview

Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician position in Fargo, ND. Essentia Health is recruiting to join a busy Women’s and Children’s division with state-of-the-art remodeled facilities and a collegial, growing team.

• Consultation-based practice with primary base in the MFM clinic embedded within the OB/GYN Clinic and attached to the hospital with a remodeled Birthing Center and post-partum rooms.
• Collaborate with 2 MFM nurses, OB Diabetic Educator, Genetic Counselor, and 3 MFM sonographers.
• Work with the OB/GYN team of 8 physicians, 7 CNMs, and 5 NPs with a large maternal and fetal high-risk population.
• Essentia Health – Fargo is a Level III NICU with recently built private rooms.
• Anticipated schedule at base location: 4–5 days/week, 8 am–5 pm; no call requirements.
• Anticipated office patient volume at base: ~10/day; procedures: 2–4/month; average inpatient consults: 5–10/month; deliveries: >1,200/year.

• BC/BE in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
• Training: ABOG certification preferred.

Centrally located on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, Fargo-Moorhead population ~250,000. Service area includes 25 clinics and 5 hospitals. Family-friendly environment with active downtown, good schools, and community activities.

$617,008 base; additional compensation may be available as bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based pay.
