Tesla STEM is looking for an Instructional Assistant, whose primary responsibilities will include serving as the school's AP Testing Coordinator and supporting small group instruction and assessments. Other responsibilities will also be assigned.

This position is posted in accordance with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Collective Bargaining Agreement transfer process outlined in Section 15.9. The position will be posted internally for five (5) workdays. The internal posting will close on Thursday, February 12th, 2026.
Interested employees must submit an Internal Application. To be eligible for transfer, employees must meet the posted qualifications and have been in their current position for at least six (6) months. Qualified applicants will be contacted directly.
If no internal candidates are selected for transfer, the position will be posted for one (1) week to consider both internal and external applicants.
Hourly Rate: $25.54/hour wage). $26.77/hour ) wage. Position is eligible for membership in the Service International Employees Union No. 925
Job SummaryAssists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment. May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school academic programs, or office. At elementary level, assignment includes crossing guard and playground duties. May be assigned to an individual student or work with entire classroom.
Education And Experience Requirements- Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR have passed an Educational Testing Service Para Pro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher, OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.
