If the start date for this position is February 1 or later, this position will be School Year Only. The position will end at the conclusion of the current school year. Depending on  staffing needs, hires may be offered an additional role after continuing staff have been placed for the  school year.

Hours Per Day: 3.5

Shift: TBD at this time. Shift subject to change.

Inglewood Middle School (within the Eastlake Learning Community)

Hourly Rate: $25.54/hour   wage). $26.77/hour ) wage. Position is eligible for membership in the Service Employees International Union No. 925

Job Summary:

Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment. May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school academic programs, or office. At elementary level, assignment includes crossing guard and playground duties. May be assigned to an individual student or work with entire classroom.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours, OR have passed an Educational Testing Service Para Pro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher, OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher. Official documentation will be required upon hire.

* Must pass criminal background check
