MS​/HS Science and Math Teacher; FTE International Community School

International Community School (within the Juanita Learning Community) is looking for qualified science/math teachers for the  school year. This position is a 1.0 FTE leave replacement position.

International Community School (ICS) is a secondary 6-12 school. Teachers may teach both middle and high school level sciences and math from algebra, geometry, and algebra 2 during the 2026-27 school year. Teachers also support IB students in grades 11 and 12 through Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity, Service components of the IB Diploma Core. Additionally, the school offers overnight student experiences with Camp Phoenix in the fall and Focus Week in the spring semesters.

Washington State teaching certificate with MS science, HS biology and HS mathematics endorsements. Preferred: additional certification in chemistry and/or physics.

Paid per teacher salary schedule with base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days, responsibilities, technology stipend, and professional fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on the Lake Washington School District website. Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
