Special Education Teacher – Middle School Intervention Services
Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified middle school special education teacher candidates for positions within an intervention services setting for the school year. This general posting will generate an applicant pool; building administrators will contact selected candidates for an interview as specific openings are identified.
Responsibilities- Provide intervention services to students with emotional and behavioral concerns.
- Support the majority of students’ progress within this classroom program.
- Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement.
Paid per teacher salary schedule with base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days and responsibility. Additional technology stipend and professional fund available. See Lake Washington Education Association salary schedule posted on the website.
Full benefit package available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
