This position is posted in accordance with the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Collective Bargaining Agreement transfer process outlined in Section 15.9 The position will be posted internally for five (5) workdays. The internal posting will close on Thursday, July 9th, 2026.

Interested employees must submit an Internal Application. To be eligible for transfer, employees must meet the posted qualifications and have been in their current position for at least six (6) months. Qualified applicants will be contacted directly.

If no internal candidates are selected for transfer, the position will be posted for one (1) week to consider both internal and external applicants.

Job Summary:

Assists teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment. Primary role entails management of study hall and testing room. May be assigned to classroom, lunchroom, library, before- or after-school academic programs, or office. May be assigned to an individual student or work with entire classroom.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must hold an associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study equivalent to 72 college quarter credit hours OR have passed an Educational Testing Service Para Pro Assessment documenting a score of 455 or higher OR have passed the Pearson Paraprofessional Assessment with a score of 220 or higher.

Official documentation will be required upon hire.
