The Assistive Technology Specialist will collaborate with educators, students, and families to assess needs, facilitate the development of personalized technology plans, and provide support for successful implementation. The Specialist will support district initiatives of equity and inclusion by providing large-scale training, resources for implementation and learning, and cross-departmental collaboration. This position reports to the Special Services Director.

• Current Washington State Teaching certificate OR Educational Staff Associate certificate (ESA).
• Experience working in PreK‑12 education, with a focus on supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Experience implementing the use of assistive technology tools with individual students and teams.
• Background and understanding of assistive technology, including AAC, various AT tools, software, and light-tech devices.
