Lake Washington School District is looking for qualified Elementary Special Education Teacher candidates for positions in the  school year. This general posting will generate an applicant pool for these positions. As specific openings are identified, building administrators will contact selected candidates for interviews.

This position will support inclusive special education services within elementary schools. As a generalist, the teacher will support students with a range of strengths and needs. Teachers will work collaboratively with general education colleagues as well as special education staff, providing special education services within general education classrooms, through co‑teach models and within intervention blocks.

Washington State teaching certificate with Special Education endorsement

Paid per teacher salary schedule with base contract plus additional contracts for LEAP days and responsibilities. Additional technology stipend and professional fund. See LWEA salary schedule posted on the website. Full benefits available for employees working a minimum of 630 hours during the school year.
