Instructional Assistant at Emerson High School and Emerson K-12

Overview

This Instructional Assistant position at Emerson High School and Emerson K-12 is split between campuses and includes special education support, general classroom support, and teacher support.

• Assist teaching staff by completing instructional tasks and maintaining an orderly classroom to provide a positive learning environment.
• Work in classroom, lunchroom, library, before or after school programs, or office; at elementary level, assignment includes crossing guard and playground duties; may be assigned to an individual student or the whole classroom.

• Hourly Rate: $27.71 per hour

• Must hold an Associate degree (AA) or higher OR have completed two years of study (72 college quarter credit hours) OR have passed para‑professional assessments with the required scores. Official documentation will be required upon hire.
• Must pass criminal background check
