The Teaching and Learning department is looking for qualified candidates for a Curriculum Specialist - World Languages (Teacher On Special Assignment - TOSA) position beginning in the school year. This is a 0.6 FTE position.
Position SummaryLake Washington School District is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Teaching and Learning Specialist team starting in the school year. The successful candidate will support effective teaching and learning in World Languages in the District.

- Current Washington State teaching certificate required
- Three years of successful, student-centered classroom teaching experience and strong ideas for and/or experience implementing innovative technology solutions in the classroom
- Commitment to and evidence of successful standard-based teaching
- Commitment to the vision, goals, and philosophy of the Lake Washington School District
- Implementation of effective instructional strategies and learning theory in diverse settings
