Location:
Onsite in Redmond, WA. Duration:
Long-term Contract.
Hours:
Minimum 40 Hours/Week.

- Opto Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced optical test fixtures and stations involving projectors, cameras (e.g. colorimeter), motorized stages, and various optical elements (lenses, diffractive gratings, mirrors, wave guides).
- Develop and integrate custom test fixtures and automation solutions for display and optical systems.
- Bring up, validate, and troubleshoot optical test systems and automation hardware/software.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and manufacture custom optical test fixtures.
- Perform optical metrology, characterization, and data analysis to support product development and manufacturing.
- Manage calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of metrology tooling.
- Coordinate sample allocation and shipping related to test fixtures and metrology tools.
- Strong background in Opto-Mechanical Engineering with experience designing precision components and assemblies.
- Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX for part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawings.
- Solid command of GD&T with the ability to apply and interpret tolerances effectively.
- Hands-on experience with tolerance analysis and stack-up analysis.
- Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
- Experience creating and maintaining production-ready engineering drawings.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with optical, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
- Experience with AR/VR display systems and optical module testing.
BSCSE or related.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Range $75/hr - $85/hr.
