* The Role:

** We’re looking for a passionate and curious Scientist I to join our team. If you’re excited by new challenges, solving complex problems, and learning every step of the way, you might just be the perfect fit. ** What You'll Do:
*** Dive deep into purification process development for biotherapeutics manufacturing, always looking for ways to improve and innovate.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new possibilities and solutions.
* Transfer processes to clinical and commercial manufacturing facilities.
* Technology development to reduce the cost and improve the efficiency of purification processes.
* Regularly share your findings, ideas, and solutions in both team settings and presentations.
* Ensure that curiosity-driven questions and exploration lead to measurable, impactful results.
** Who You Are:
*** BS or MS degree in Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field and 5+ years of experience or Ph.D.
* Knowledgeable in chromatography and filtration theory, downstream development strategy, and process scale-up/transfer
* Experience with chromatography operations, including operating AKTA systems
* Experience with filtration operation, including executing bench-scale dead-end filtration, viral filtration, UF/DF, and depth filtration
* Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, able to share complex ideas in a simple, relatable way.
** Additional

Preferred Qualifications:

*** Experience with design of experiments (DOE) and analysis using statistical software packages (JMP, MATLAB, etc.)
* Experience with multi column chromatography
* Experience with continuous and connected processing
* Experience with process modelling
* A curious problem-solver with a passion for learning and growing in a dynamic environment.
* Comfortable with ambiguity and thrives in environments where curiosity and experimentation are encouraged.
* A self-starter who takes initiative, owns your projects, and actively seeks out new challenges.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $90,000 to $100,000;
Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
