Job Description

The Technical Program Manager is responsible for working with a US-based TPM in executing programs/projects including driving schedules, tracking of issues, facilitating and reporting on program progress, and leading a broad set of partner teams to deliver these programs. This role will be responsible for keeping the program on schedule, budget, and driving any product changes required to ensure that the program meets the requirements set forth in the Product Requirements.

Candidate will be working directly with internal and external development teams, Industrial Design, test and validation, reliability, compliance, marketing, supply chain and sourcing teams.

Qualifications
  • BSE in Hardware Engineering or related field with 5+ years of related experience
  • Experience with design and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent people and communication skills, fluent in Mandarin and English, Vietnamese a plus
  • Knowledge of the hardware development processes
  • Knowledge of Bill of Material structuring including related files and change management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple design activities and development schedules
Additional Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with supplier qualification and ongoing quality monitoring
  • Ability to manage both internal and external contract design resources through the prototype, design validation, production and process validation phases
  • Experience with gaming and/or entertainment consumer products
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly express technical concepts in verbal and written form, as well as comprehend and assimilate technical concepts across multiple disciplines
  • Experience working with international development and manufacturing teams
  • Domestic and international travel is required
