Job Description
An employer is looking for a Test Engineer to join their Electronics Hardware Engineering Team in Redmond, WA.
This person will not be writing their own test plans but needs to be able to read Python and work with the design and engineering team to articulate the testing results and what needs to be changed. The Design Team will create the test plans, pass them to this person who will test, troubleshoot and deliver the results. Down the road this person will deliver the results to the Engineering team for large‑scale execution.
This person should be able to carry out automation, will not be writing automation scripts themselves. This person will need to have hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes and power supplies. They need to have strong hands‑on experience with PCBA and have a strong troubleshooting mindset.

- 2+ years of related industry experience
- 2+ years experience working with PCBA
- Hands‑on experience with oscilloscopes and power supplies
- Python – executing the scripts, not coding
- Ability to read and analyze electronic schematics
- Knowledge of voltage dividers, currents, voltages, inductors, capacitors
- Understands the charging of the satellites
- Understand electronic components and how they work
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities for hardware systems
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Production environment experience ideally
- Document test procedures, results, and hardware defects
- Degree in electrical engineering
